About in-context research.
What is in-context research?
Research that observes people where the behaviour happens, at home, in a store or at work, instead of asking them to remember it in an interview. It includes in-home interviews, contextual inquiry, shop-alongs and diary studies.
How does consent work?
Participants agree in advance to exactly what is recorded, where and how it is used. Anyone else in frame is informed, and sessions can be stopped at any time.
What is a diary study?
Participants record short moments over several days or weeks, for example every time they cook or open an app. Cookiy prompts them, collects video and voice entries and follows up with an AI interview.
Can you do first-person recording?
Yes. For hands-on tasks we can capture first-person video from a phone or head-mounted camera, with hands and tools in frame.
How is it analysed?
Like every Cookiy study: transcripts, tone and emotion, plus behaviour marked on the timeline and themes across participants.
Where can you run these sessions?
In most major markets. Recruiting for in-context work depends on the setting; we confirm feasibility before launch.
